Open House for the 2019-2020 School Year

Learn about our parent participatory preschool, its philosophy, and its membership. All attendees will get an introduction to the daily life and culture of our cooperative preschool. The open house is for parents whose children will be entering preschool in the fall of 2019. To be considered for admission to Sunset Cooperataive Nursery School, children of interested parents must be two years-old by mid-August 2019. |

1st Annual Sunset Harvest Festival

This family-friendly event will feature live music from the Bumpity Bumps & The Beardo Brothers, plus a kids’ carnival row full of fun games and prizes. In our delicious chili cook off, your vote determines the winner! Come hungry, because we also have savory bites from The Grilled Cheese Guy and hearty vegan comfort food from Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy a variety of craft beers and even an exclusive whiskey tasting. A souvenir pint glass & 2 drink tickets are included with every adult admission! Restaurant Night at Blaze Pizza Benefitting Sunset Coop
Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM Blaze Pizza Stonestown This year's first Restaurant Night Fundraiser will be at Blaze Pizza, All you have to do is show up that evening for delicious pizza, show your virtual flyer when you pay, and enjoy! Fast-Fire'd Custom Built Artisanal Pizzas. Dough is made in house, they're allergen sensitive, and the space is super kid friendly. Sunset receives 20% of all sales from folks who present a flyer -- so feel free to pass this along to friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. -- just make sure to send along the pic of the flyer. Time to Connect Conference for Parents and Teachers
Friday-Saturday March 9-10th, 2018 The Hotel Kabuki, San Francisco The San Francisco co-op preschool community is excited to host the 69th annual California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools (CCPPNS) Conference – 2 full days of presentations and workshops on childhood development for parents and teachers. This year’s theme, Time to Connect, will allow attendees to dive deep into the areas of Self, Family, Community and the World.
